"INNOVATION TOUR"

05/21/10
Tochigi, Japan
Ashikaga Citizen's Plaza Small Hall

To the ring heads Shinjiro Otani, wearing a suit and holding a microphone in his hand. He welcomes all of the fans here in Tochigi, and says they are in for a night of uncompromising action! He says last week he proved the strength of the ZERO1 fighting athlete, as he pinned Kurt Angle's shoulders to the mat and made him look like the bitch that he is! That got a huge reaction from the crowd, as Otani smirks widely. Otani says that it is only a matter of time before he takes Angle's title, and then he will go back after the arrogant World Champion!

With the first notes of "Lunatic Fringe" by Red Rider, the fans start to boo, knowing who is coming. It is Kurt Angle, with his WWA All-Asian championship around his waist, and he's being shadowed by the big Oklahoma native known as Jack Swagger tonight! Angle begins by saying that Otani and his boy Sato cheated last week, and it was little more than a common FLUKE that Otani could even lay a hand on Kurt Angle without him allowing it, let alone pinning the Olympic Gold Medalist's shoulders to the mat! He says that he isn't going to make the same mistake he did last week and bring in a guy he doesn't know just because he's big and tough... no, he's going to bring in a guy he DOES KNOW that's big and tough, and they're gonna beat the freakin' crap out of Otani and anybody else! It's true, it's damn true! That's why he brought Jack Swagger tonight, but Angle says he thinks Drake Vyle is still lurking around here somewhere, so this company really has a lot of trouble on its hands! He says Otani better just pack it in and fold right now, or he'll be CRAWLING as his company SINKS!

Otani listens to the translation and smirks, then says that it doesn't matter who Kurt Angle brings with him, he is still going get beaten. He got beat last week because he was a weakling and a coward, a fallen hero who used to be great but is now a disgrace to his country. Otani says that Kurt Angle has no honor, and he doesn't know how he could win a gold medal with a broken neck when he doesn't even have a SPINE!

Angle listened to that translation, nodded, looking heated, and then he and Swagger ran to the ring and went to attack Otani! Otani did not run, however, he stood his ground and began punching both Angle and Swagger furiously! Oh, the numbers began to overtake him, as Swagger tackled him down, but out came Kohei Sato! Sato kicked Angle in the head, and then began to rapidly kick Swagger's left leg before security and officials could come out and break things up!

Welcome to ZERO1, baby!

MATCH ONE
SINGLES RULES

Hayato Jr. Fujita vs. Yuzuru Saito

Fujita came into this match with quite the attitude, which earned him a mixed reaction. He berated his opponent on the mic before Saito would attack him from behind and get this thing started! Saito looked good, but Fujita was ruthless and showed brutal striking capacity. Fujita kicked the hell out of Saito in this match, but Saito showed great fighting spirit and earned a number of near falls. Fujita would eventually submit him, using a Triangle Choke!

Fujita would slap Saito around after the match and acted very cocky, but he earned good results so you have to respect that.

MATCH TWO
TAG TEAM RULES

Kenta Kakinuma, Kamikaze vs. Akira Shoji, Yuji Okabayashi

Pretty basic tag team action, which neither team had much of a real advantage in until the end. Okabayashi showed great strength, and had some spirited exchanges with Kamikaze. He would steam roll Kakinuma and Kamikaze for a minute or so near the end, and looked like he was going to get the win, but inexperience proved to be his biggest fault, as Kamikaze would reverse an attempted slam into a roll-up to get the surprise pinfall!

Okabayashi was fuming after the match, but he'll have to learn his lesson.

We go backstage, where Minoru Fujita has apparently found a new partner in Takuya Sugawara! Ikuto Hidaka approaches them in the back, and he doesn't look very pleased. Hidaka says that Fujita is insane to drop him from the team and calls him a lazy bastard! He says that it is a blessing, though, because maybe now he can win a match not having to carry his load!

Fujita is insulted, but he's cocky, and he tells Hidaka he'll show him tonight just who's been carrying who and who's going to be winning the matches around here. Hidaka says that Fujita and his new buddy had better be prepared, because he and the partner he has in mind are going to stomp their fucking heads in!

Oh, these guys are heated, folks! This is going to be good!

MATCH THREE
TAG TEAM RULES

Shota Takanishi, Shinya Ishikawa vs. Shiro Ueda, Yusaku Obata

There was some pretty good action in this match, as we saw frequent tags and even some work on the outside of the ring! Ueda took a lot of damage in this match, which he should get credit for, but Obata took the sick spot of the match when Takanishi delivered a brainbuster to him off the apron and to the floor! Obata would end up showing his fighting spirit, coming back and winning the match with a great Diving Headbutt onto Ishikawa for the pinfall!

We are backstage, where we see Otani and Sato warming up for their match and discussing their game plan when suddenly three omenous figures roll-up on them. These figures are none other than "The Demon" Drake Vyle, Koron Daleus, and Isao Aoki. Otani looks them all over and asks them what they think they are doing. Vyle has Aoki translate for him, saying that last week was just the beginning, and that Vyle plans to bring Hell to Japan in a much more prolific manner. He says that fool Kurt Angle brought him here, thinking he was going to do his bidding, but Angle failed him. Now he has brought a new army to the fore front, and they are hungry for blood... they are Genocide.

Otani says that he'd love to beat all of them right now, kick all of their asses and be done with this, but he has bigger things to worry about right now. He says that he knows just the opponents for them, and that they will learn to worry more about not getting their heads kicked off than acting scary and coming up with cool nicknames. None of that will help them tonight.

Vyle says that he is unimpressed, and any challenge will be destroyed miserably... and that they will meet again.

After they leave, Otani and Sato mock the troupe, making scary faces and acting retarded, then they get back to their planning.

MATCH FOUR
TAG TEAM RULES

Madoka, Munenori Sawa vs. Katsuhiko Nakajima, Wataru Sakata

This was the best match so far on the show, as we saw some incredible hard hitting action that had an excellent pace. These guys went all out, performing exchanges usually reserved for your Kung-Fu movies, which Sakata had a bit of a hard time keeping up. It's fortunate for him he has such a talented and lethal partner, as Nakajima showed huge skill in this contest against two very capable and charismatic opponents. Sakata may have saved Nakajima's ass, however, as Madoka was looking for his Ranhei finished, but Sakata caught him with a Lariat to send it into a pin attempt by Nakajima! The end of the match came after fists and kicks were flying from all parties, Sawa ducked a kick from Nakajima, which connected on Madoka, but Sawa caught Nakajima with a crazy knee to the face, followed by a punch from Sakata, but Sawa unloaded about six punches and jumped up, taking Sakata down into an armbar and getting the submission victory! Hell of a fight.

MATCH FIVE
TAG TEAM RULES

Minoru Fujita, Takuya Sugawara vs. Ikuto Hidaka, Masaaki Mochizuki

Hidaka had picked an excellent partner in the highly skilled and experienced Mochizuki, whom came into this match looking more vital than he has the last two weeks. Mochizuki wanted to make the most of this big break, it would seem, getting most of the near falls in this match. Fujita and Sugawara had apparently been going over some things for this match and had some double team moves put together, and seemed like they could have the potential to be a very good team. Sugawara was in a similar position to Mochizuki, here, only more dramatically, as he this was truly his biggest match to date and he was showing off all of his skills, but also taking a great deal of punishment at the hands of the angry Hidaka. The match came to an end when Fujita low blowed Hidaka and nailed him with the Sasuke Segway to get the pinfall!

Hidaka was extremely hot after that cheap shot, and looked like he wanted revenge!

Before the match, Dick Togo comes to the ring and is booed by the audience. He takes the mic and tells all of the fans to shut the fuck up! He says he is sitting out at ringside tonight to watch the pathetic bastards in this match beat each other down, as he hates all of them and hopes they all kill themselves, which he would really enjoy!

Once everyone is in the ring, most of the wrestlers have words for Togo, all of which being warnings that if he screws with them, they will all hunt him down like a dog and rip him apart! Togo looks less than impressed and tells them to suck his cock. Very subtle guy.

MATCH SIX
TRIOS TAG TEAM RULES

Masato Tanaka, Tatsuhito Takaiwa, Kota Ibushi vs. Yoshihiro Takayama, Takao Omori, Katsumi Usuda

Takayama and Omori found a hell of a partner in Katsumi Usuda, who has been burning up the rings the last couple of weeks and was anxious for this big break. This was as hard a hitting match as you are going to find, as Takayama started off just attacking all three of his opponents, goading them into the ring where he punched and kneed them ruthlessly! Takaiwa managed to chop block his leg out from under him, which lead his teammates to come in and start wreaking havoc, eventually spilling things to the outside in a very wild turn! Ibushi showed huge skill in flying over the top rope, flipping and twisting and crushing his opponents on the floor! Omori and Togo got into a war of words, as Togo looked like he was going to attack him, which would be revenge for NO FEAR attacking him after their match last week, but Togo actually helped him out, pointing out Tanaka coming on with a chair and then Tanaka and Omori battled it out hard! The match came to an end when it looked like Omori and Takayama were going to double chokeslam Ibushi, when Togo ran in with a chair and was staring down everyone... until he turned and smacked Tanaka with it, and then Takaiwa, following by kicking Ibushi in the balls and then high fiving Takayama and Omori! Takayama then picked up Ibushi and drilled him with a German suplex on the chair, seemingly killing him to get the three count.

Masato Tanaka got up, extremely pissed, and began elbowing and kicking the crap out of everyone, until the numbers piled up on him. Usuda seemed a little torn, but he seemed to shrug it off and began beating the crap out of Tanaka, Takaiwa, and Ibushi until out ran Otani and Sato holding chairs! They ran NO FEAR out of the ring and then took the mic and said that Takayama, Omori, Togo, and hell, even Usuda are giving ZERO1 a bad name, and if they want to mess with one of the boys, they are going to mess with all of them! That's when the lockerroom started spilling out onto the stage, at least the good guys, and blocking NO FEAR's path, causing them to go through the crowd to get out of there. They all then came to the ring and posed, holding up their index fingers to let everyone know that ZERO1 is NUMBER ONE!

MATCH SEVEN
TRIOS TAG TEAM RULES

Drake Vyle, Koron Daleus, Isao Aoki vs. Toshiaki Kawada, Daisuke Sekimoto, Ryouji Sai

The good, happy feelings couldn't last too long, apparently. Genocide came into this match looking tough, but they walked right into the eye of a hurricane, as Otani called in some pretty big guns on this one. Kawada is a bonafide legend and bad ass, and he had two young and capable young men backing him up and looking to fight! Vyle, Daleus, and Aoki seemed to have no problem with that, as the fists and kicks began to fly and, much to Vyle's pleasure, all Hell broke loose! This was not a pretty, clean match at all. There was a lot of punishment dished out, and plenty of blood. Kawada looked like he was getting hurt pretty bad in this match, and Daleus seemed to hurt him the most, powerbombing him right on the concrete floor in the crowd! Kawada would fight valiantly, but he was pretty broken down, and they seemed to figure out immediately that if they hurt him early he'd gas by the end. Sekimoto and Sai were extremely impressive, and they hurt their opponents a lot, but Sai made a calculated error which comes with a bit of inexperience. Sai set Aoki up on a table in the ring and was looking to smash him through it with his Nachi Waterfall, but Aoki rolled off the table and caught him on top, superplexing him right through the table and then locking on a Rear Naked Choke to choke Sai out and get the victory!

The fans were not happy with that result, but they had to respect it, as that was a ingloriously beautiful brawl!

MATCH EIGHT
TAG TEAM RULES

Shinjiro Otani, Kohei Sato vs. Kurt Angle, Jack Swagger

We've seen some crazy matches tonight, but this match wasn't one of them. This was a straight up battle, with a lot of wrestling prowess involved. Angle and Swagger showed off their admirable wrestling skills, with Angle starting off against Sato and working over his leg to try and neutralize his kicking ability. Otani would come in and try to fight Angle, but Angle would quickly get out and let big Jack Swagger get a hold of him. Otani showed no fear, walking right up to Swagger like a hardass and punching him right in the mouth, before kicking him in the leg three times and tackling him into the corner. Swagger beat his way out of that and took Otani down hard with a slam into a mount, but Otani would manage to escape and tried for a choke. Swagger over powered that, and then nail a big Backdrop Suplex that sent Otani onto his neck hard. Otani wouldn't be staggered, though, and charged forward, blasting Swagger with many punches to the head, before he began to knee him in the ribs and then the face, following that up by running and dropkicking him across the face, which earned him a two count. Finally Swagger got out of there, and it was Angle/Otani again! Angle tried to take the leg, but Otani rained punches down on his head and sprawled, trying to get Angle into an armbar, but the Olympian managed to escape and take the back, slamming Otani down and we had some good chain wrestling action from there. Otani would overcome, unleashing a big headbutt to Angle, but Angle showed his toughness, headbutting Otani right back and these two were actually battling with headbutts! Otani would win out, as Angle seemed way too staggered, which lead Otani to lay him out with a haymaker and go for the cover, but only a two count! He would hit a Dragon Suplex, but Swagger came in to break that up with a Kamelin Throw! Sato would jump in at that point, unloading strikes from every angle to send Swagger back into the ropes, but Swagger lunged forward, grabbing Sato and twisting, throwing him with a big Belly-to-Belly Suplex! Swagger would then kick Otani and try to suplex him, but Otani smacked him right in face three times and then kneed him, following that by running off the ropes, but Swagger caught him with a suplex anyway! Swagger then picked him up and drilled him with a Gutwrench Powerbomb, but Otani kicked out at two! Swagger would try again, but Otani escaped and unloaded some big fists to his face before going up top and delivering a big Missile Dropkick for a two count, broken up by Angle, who tried to lock in an Ankle Lock, and was successful! That is until Sato ran up and kicked him right under the jaw, seemingly knocking him out! Swagger was back up, though, and he attacked both Sato and Otani with a Double Lariat! Swagger then picked up Sato and dumped him with an Exploder Suplex. He then turned to Otani, who ran over and kneed him in the chest before nailing two big right hands, but Swagger would battle back with big lefts and rights that rocked the hell out of Otani, before grabbing him and dropping him with his own Dragon Suplex! Otani staggered up, trying to put up his fists, but Swagger kicked him and then delivered a huge spinning Gutwrench Powerbomb! It was all over, Swagger got the pinfall!

After the match, Angle shook off that kick and saw the damage and was ecstatic. He told Swagger to attack Otani and Sato further, but Swagger waved him off and headed to the back, obviously in pain and not wanting to mess with it. Angle looked a little peeved, but whatever, he won and he was happy about it, gloating to Otani's face with his championship belt as the show came to an end.
